The cylinder is made from ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) by 3D printing. ASA is heat-resistant and UV-stable — durable and does not yellow under light.
The top and base are printed from PLA (polylactic acid) — soft-touch, pleasant to hold.
The inscription is applied with a durable, heat-bonded process so it doesn't wear off in normal use. The text is matte and gold-toned — not metallic paint, but a subtle light-to-dark gradient that evokes the gold effect. Hand-made in Hungary.
You can pick from three characters for the top: capybara (default), baby elephant or plain top with no figure. The body (cylinder, base), the brown color, the inscription placement, and the price (4 750 HUF) are the same on all three — only the top figure changes. The choice is free and can be changed any time in the designer.
The inscription is matte and gold-toned, but not made with metallic paint — we imitate the gold effect with a subtle gradient (lighter to darker tones). It doesn't shine like a mirror, but it plays nicely in the light, without the glitter typical of cheap pigment prints.
Every part of the lamp — the cylinder, the top, the base — is built layer by layer, so a fine horizontal pattern is visible up close. This is the natural mark of 3D printing: pleasant to the touch, not sharp, and not mirror-smooth.
Occasionally there may be a small burr or faint dot where a support attached during printing. We try to clean these by hand, but some may remain — they're not defects, just characteristics of the technology, which is why no two pieces are exactly alike.

The cylinder is sturdy, the top and base are durable but not impact-proof. Perfect for tabletop use; we don't recommend dropping it. If something does happen, write us — we can often help with a replacement part.
Cleaning: a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Don't put it in a washing machine or dishwasher, don't use chemicals on it — the inscription can be damaged.
Inside the cylinder we place an inner LED light sourced from a Hungarian distributor, with original manufacturer CE marking and Hungarian-language instructions — CR2032 button cell, replaceable.
The light always flickers, imitating a candle flame in a soft, varying way — there is no constant-light mode. This is part of its character.
Not an open flame — safe at home, in a child's room only with supervision.
The inner LED always burns in a flickering, candle-like way — there is no mode where it shines constantly. This is a deliberate choice: an ambient lamp is an ambient lamp because it gives a candle-like feel without the open flame.
Only the included inner LED light may be used in the cylinder. The cylinder is plastic, which can melt under an open flame — that's a fire hazard and life-threatening. Anything that burns or heats up (tealights, wax candles, incense) must not be placed in the cylinder.

Production time is normally 5 working days, plus 1-2 days of shipping. It's usually faster — for small quantities (1-2 pieces) we often hand it to the courier the next day.

The lamp is made on your request, with a personalized inscription that is permanently bonded to the cylinder by a heat process. Therefore, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to this product under Hungarian law (Decree 45/2014, §29(1)c).
However, in case of manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or any problem caused by us, we will of course fix it immediately — repair, replace, or send a new one. Just write to hello@almodozoo.hu.
